A recent trip out to Eigg where the dolphin came to join us, absolutely brilliant, still a huge thrill no matter how many times we see them.
It is very important that we let them come to us if they want to and we never follow them when they leave.

On a recent trip to Shetland I took a trip on the Noss boat out of Lerwick to see the Gannets. It was a bit rough (even though it doesn't look it) but well worth it.

Spotted Flycatchers in Armadale
It was awesome watching two beautiful Spotted Flycatchers feeding their chicks so diligently recently.
We felt privileged that they chose to nest under the veranda of our shed and that they allowed us to share the space when changing for a swim! The chicks grew so much in a couple of weeks and all five successfully fledged after about 17 days. They did look ever so slightly cross!
